As a full-time on-air personality for a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida, working for Christian Surfers (CS) was never on the radar for Colbi. Surfing was actually never on the radar. Colbi grew up in a small Podunk town, where most people worked on their parents’ oyster farms. As she moved from the Gulf to the Atlantic, a love for surfing grew. After being introduced to Christian Surfers in college, Colbi volunteered with the ministry. A few years later, the Lord and other leaders prompted her to join as staff. Coming from a family with three brothers and zero sisters, she’s no stranger to being outnumbered by guys, something that often happens in the water. In her position, she’s able to love on, encourage and lift up female surfers across the East Coast. She gets to share Jesus on the airwaves and in the waves.
